The story
TeeUp started with a familiar problem: filming a golf swing on an iPhone is easy, knowing what to do with the footage is not. Most swing apps either drown a golfer in numbers or need a coach on the other end to make sense of it. TeeUp does one thing instead — it runs body-pose analysis entirely on the iPhone, the moment you film or import a swing, and hands back one score, one fix, and one drill, written the way a coach would say it. Nothing is uploaded, nothing needs a signal, and when a swing can't be read clearly, TeeUp says so instead of guessing. It's built solo, for the golfer who already films their own swings and just wants to know what they're looking at.

- What it is
- An iPhone app that analyzes a filmed golf swing entirely on-device and returns a score, one fix, and one drill per swing.
- How it works
- 100% on-device body-pose analysis — no upload, works offline. TeeUp finds the swing phases (address, takeaway, top, impact, finish) and measures tempo, head and hip sway, posture, and turn.
- Coaching
- One fix and one drill per swing. Coaching text is written from the swing's measurements: by templates, or on newer iPhones by Apple's on-device model, on the phone.
- Other features
- Impact-synced side-by-side Compare, a shareable clip with the glowing skeleton overlay burned in (watermarked on the free tier), and progress charts over time.
- Honesty by design
- When TeeUp can't see the swing clearly — wrong angle, cropped frame, bad light — it marks the swing "Not scored" instead of returning a guessed number.
- What it doesn't do
- No club tracking, no launch-monitor numbers, no human coach, no 3D capture. iPhone only — no iPad, no Android.

- Free: 3 full analyses a month. TeeUp Pro: $12.99/month or $69.99/year, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan.
- Privacy
- Swing video never leaves the device, and the app uploads nothing today. When Pro coaching launches it will send only numeric measurements, never video. No ads, no third-party tracking. Full privacy policy.
