Why does it say "Not scored"?

TeeUp only scores swings it can see clearly: the camera has to be exactly face-on or straight down the target line, with your whole body and the club in frame. If the angle is off, the frame is cropped, or the lighting silhouettes you, TeeUp says "Not scored" instead of guessing at a number. See how to film a swing it can read.

Does my video ever leave my phone?

No. All swing analysis — pose tracking, phases, metrics, scoring — runs entirely on your iPhone, and it works offline. Video never leaves your phone unless you personally share it. Today the app uploads nothing; when Pro coaching launches, Pro subscribers' swing measurements (numbers, never video or images) will go to our coach service so it can write feedback.

Does TeeUp work for left-handed golfers?

Yes. Set your handedness once and TeeUp mirrors its analysis and coaching for left-handed swings.

Is there an Android version?

Not currently. TeeUp is built for iPhone only, on iOS 26 or later. There's no iPad or Android version.

What iPhone and iOS version do I need?

iOS 26 or later, on iPhone. TeeUp doesn't run on iPad or Android.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free includes 3 full analyses a month — score, one fix and one drill per swing — plus Compare, the Stats tab (records, sessions, trends, streaks, badges, player profiles, coach PDF export), drills and a watermarked share clip. Recording and importing are never limited: a swing over the monthly allowance is kept and can be analyzed later. TeeUp Pro ($12.99/mo or $69.99/yr, with a 7-day trial on the annual plan) adds unlimited analyses and clean, unwatermarked share clips. During the TestFlight beta every tester gets Pro.

What can't TeeUp measure?

TeeUp reads your body, not your equipment. It doesn't track the club or give launch-monitor numbers, and it isn't a 3D capture system or a substitute for a human coach. What it does measure — tempo, head and hip sway, posture, and how far you turn — comes entirely from on-device body-pose analysis of the video you film. Peak hand speed is an estimate from a face-on video and your height. A ball-flight estimate is being tested with TestFlight beta testers only and isn't in the App Store version: with a swing recorded in TeeUp, face-on and with the ball in view, it tries to trace the ball and shows numbers only when it's confident. Treat them as a rough estimate, not a launch monitor.

What camera angle should I use?

Exactly face-on or straight down the target line — nothing in between. See the full filming guide for height, distance, frame rate, and lighting.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

In iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. TeeUp Pro renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple.
